A Stampin Up designed card

Good evening everyone

As I said in my earlier post I will upload the photo of the card I made for my collegue at works old boss. I've used my beautiful friend Leane Green's Stampin Up set "Elements of Style" and also my stash of cardstock and ink in the colour "Calypso Coral" and also one of their embossing folders.

So I'll make this a quick post as I also need to upload my latest DT creation for A & T Emerald Faeries, which as usual I'm running late with.

So this is my card

Sorry if there is a little glare but I'd already packaged up the card.

A layout for January's Kraft it Up challenge

So this year I decided I was going to find the time to do some scrapbooking along with my card making as I didn't manage to do too much last year and found that I missed it no matter how much I love making cards and colouring in with my Copic markers. So this month's Challenge over at Kraft it Up was a colour challenge and you had to use the following colours.

It was an interesting colour combo and I did find it very challenging but I'm happy with the results, it's a little different, but different can be good some times.

So onto my layout

So of course I will be entering this into the Kraft it Up colour challenge.

I'll be back shortly with a card that I've made for a collegue at work for her old boss for her birthday, she is turning ninety something.

Our sponsor this week with a $5.00 voucher is Digital Delights so why not head on over and see some of the amazing stamps you can choose from to get some inspiration for this challenge.

I really enjoyed doing this one which I actually managed to get done before all the Christmas rush at work but unfortunately I missed cut off to upload to the challenge blog due to issues with internet explorer and blogger so hopefully it will be uploaded in the next couple of days if not you can obviously see it here.

So onto my card

It's a "Dot" challenge over at A & T Digital Designs

Well good morning everyone, yet again I'm running late with this week's challenge, I will be very glad when the holidays are over so I can get back into a normal routine.

So this fortnight's challenge is "Dots" over at A & T Digital Designs and I'm really looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with. I had a lot of fun with this challenge and I stuck with the one colour throughout. Blue is my favourite colour and I'd been wanting to do a design using just one colour and it ended up being this one.

I've used our "Larikins" faeries for this card and actually cut them out and attached them to another one of our stamps which is one of our "Mushrooms". These stamps are all available for purchase as digital downloads from our store, so if you are interested head on over.

So onto my creation

DT call at Pink Gem Designs

Well good evening everyone I hope you are having a good evening and a good week so far. So I've been creating over the weekend and thought I'd try out for the DT call at Pink Gem Designs, I've always liked their stamps but had only previously purchased one so I thought I'd head on over and buy a couple more and grap one for the challenge which is "New Beginnings". I've purchased a really cute stamp and sentiment and have done a card for a new baby girl.

So as I've been quiet busy with my creating over the last week I won't babble on too much as this is my 2nd post in 2 days and also have to upload again tomorrow so there isn't much new news to spread anyway.

So onto my card that I've created

White with One January 2013 Challenge

Well good morning everyone, it is a wet miserable and a little chillie here in Forster today, but it is certainly a big change and a huge relief from the heat we have been having so I'm going to enjoy every minute of it even if it means running around outside at work in it today.

So for the first time in a very long time I actually manage to scrap a LO and it was for myself not a DT requirement and it was great. However to ease myself back into I have used the challenge from White with One challenge for January which was

White + Aqua/Red + Summer photo

This was a completely different colour scheme but I was surprised how well it actually worked together. A couple of days prior I had managed to get a couple of great photo's of my female cat "Princess" trying to get herself cool in the heat in front of our fan. I also wanted to make this even more easy so I've used a sketch that someone had posted on Facebook that I really liked (sorry I can't remember who it was from) so this is the sketch I've used.

And this is my LO,

for my first one in a while I'm really happy with it and hope to try and get another LO done over my next weekend off. I made a promise to myself late last year that I was going to try and get back into my scrapbooking as well as doing my cards as I miss it and really I have that much stuff I really need to be using it.

Well I've been very busy over my last couple of days off with get some colouring in done, a couple of cards created and also the above layout so I will be back shortly with my card that I've done too.

Hope everyone has a great week and why don't you come a long and give the above challenge a go as well, nothing like a challenge to get the brain thinking.

First challenge for 2013 at One Stop Craft

Well it's time for our first challenge over at One Stop Craft Challenge and it's "New Beginnings" with our sponsor for this week's challenge being Stamp Fairy.

They have some beautiful stamps so make sure you head on over to have a look and maybe pick a couple up for yourself as you can never ever have too many stamps.

So I enjoyed doing this challenge and did some paper piecing for the first time ever with my digital stamps and it was very interesting to see the results. I don't think I would like to do anything very intricate as it was hard enough with a large space stamp.

So here is the card I have created for this challenge.

The image I have chosen is baby dotty with teddy.

The products I've used are

Bearly Mine digital papers
Spellbinder, Stampin UP & My Favourite Things dies
Cuttlebug embossing folder
Stampin Up stamp
Robins Nest dew drops
Bazzill cs

The copics I've used are

I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with this week and would like to wish everyone a happy 2013, I hope it brings all your dreams and wishes true.

Happy crafting.

First challenge for 2013 at A & T Emerald Faeries

So our first challenge of 2013 has been loaded on Tuesday over at The Emerald Faeries and it is a good one to start the year off being "Celebrations".

I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with for this challenge, but then again I'm always interested to see what everyone creates.

I hope that 2013 will be kind to everyone and that all your dreams and wishes come true, I'm hoping that this will also be true for myself and my family and friends.

So we have been really busy at work with the coming all the tourist to town and also to our caravan park, but it has been great, the only downside is that you get very tired from being so busy and with the heat you don't have a lot left to give at the end of the day. So I've been trying to spend one day or afternoon after an early finish, colouring images in prep for creating my designs and then I've already spend one whole day making cards so at this stage I am ahead for the first month and the beginning of Feb.

So onto my creation for this week, I've used Ashee from our Emerald Faeries collection and I must admit I do love him.

The products I've use are

SEI papers from my stash (quiet a few years old)
WOC & I Am Roses flowers
Bazzill cs
Memory Box & Spellbinder Dies
Scrapboxx rubon alpha
Ribbon

The copics I've used are

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

Wild Orchid Challenge - Anything Goes

I look forward to seeing what everyone creates this week as I always am.

Hope 2013 and is a good for you as I'm hoping it will be for my friends and family.
