It's a SPOOKY TIME for a challenge

Well here in Australia we don't celebrate Halloween like a lot of other countries, however it is becoming a little bit more popular and we get the occasional trick or treater coming to the door but very few people have anything ready to give out.

So this weeks challenge at One Stop Craft was "Halloween" with Kenny K being this weeks sponsor. I'm a big fan of Kenny K espically for images for my niece and newphew as they are very age appropriate. I really enjoyed colouring one of their images for my card and also enjoyed putting the card together. Sometimes it's nice to do something different, however there is no one for me to give the card to, so it will probably end up being in my stash of cards I can't or don't want to do anything with. Unless I'm lucky enough to have some want it which I will be happy to help.

I would like to say how amazing it is to see so many entries each week, you make it so hard for me to keep up with my commenting but I love seeing everyone's designs each week. I must admit I even get some inspiration myself, and I think we can always learn new things or ways to use something in a different way to what you are used to.

So onto my card

The products I have use are:

Bazzill cs
Bearly Mine free digi spider web pp
WOC flowers
Doodle Bug brads (bats)
Spellbinder Dies
American Crafts Thickers

I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's creations again this week, and I've already noticed that some people have already placed their creations on the site so I better get started with my commenting before it gets on top of me. I'm having a well deserved night away with my hubby this Wednesday night as I've been working flat out for the last month or so with my full time job, designing and also my little Facebook business "Cremen Creations" also where I create embellishment packs, lace packs, embellishments etc.

So I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Bearly Mine - Easel card
Whimsy Stamps - All that Sparkles

Nighty Nite and have a Happy Halloween to those of you who celebrate.

My first Design for One Stop Craft Challenge

Well good morning everyone, it's a miserable day here in Forster, and of course all my washing was done last night and put out on the line somehow I don't think it is going to dry. Bugger

As this is my first post for desinging for One Stop Craft Challenge I would like to say a big THANK YOU to the ladies for giving me this opportunity to work with them and also the other new members of the team.

So it's onto my first design for "One Stop Craft Challenge" and this week we/you have to use "Heat Embossing" on your design. This was a real challenge for me as it is a very long time since I've done heat embossing and it actually took quiet a few goes to get it to work for me.

We also had to use a design from A Day For Daisies who are the sponsor of this week's challenge and are giving away a $16.00 voucher for the winner to use in their store where they have over 1,000 designs for you to choose from. So why don't you all head on over and have a look at what they have to offer, they also have some new releases being "Musical Butteflies" and also "Silent Film".

I've have choosen Precious Angel for my card and have created her wings out of Kaiser flowers for something a little different and it's something I haven't done before but I think they turned out fantastic. The heat embossing I have done is the 3 butterflies & the scalloped boarder at the bottom right.

The products I have use are:

Bazzill cs
Kaiser pp's, flowers (for wings) & stamps
SU ink
Prima bling flourish
WOC flowers
Metal corner
Stamens
Spellbinder & MFT Dies
Clear embossing powder

The Copics I have used are:

I know that I don't have too many followers as yet but I would love it if you spread the word as I'll be working on some "Blog Candy" to give away over this weekend and will upload to give away when I hit "50" followers.

I hope everyone has had a good weekend so far, mine has just started today and I plan on spending most of the day in my craft room as I have quiet a few orders to put together from my endeavour of "Cremen Creations" on Facebook and also a few cards to get made. I will also be heading out for a fun filled night with my hubby and friends as we head out to see Icehouse at Club Forster and some dinner first.

Happy creating everyone and I hope you will come along and join us all.

I'm an new Design Team Member for One Stop Craft Challenges

Well I just want to start off my saying that I'm very excited to annouce that I've been accepted onto the Design Team for One Stop Craft Challenges and our first challenge will be starting this Saturday. Just remember though that they are based in the UK so there will probably be approx 1 days difference in the times.

I have already sent through my first card which has turned out better than expected and I've used a different technique on the angels wings which I think turned out quiet effective.

I will upload my card and a link to the challenge over the weekend when the challenge is up and running and this will also give me time to get a photo of the copics I have used to create my card.

I think to celebrate I will also be putting together a "BLOG CANDY" as I would really like to get my blog followers up a little, so when I hit "50" I will do a random draw for some "Candy". I will also upload a piccy of this "Candy" over the weekend.

Please spread the word as I am now designer for two wonderful places and would love to have more feedback on my creations to see what people are really thinking.

Thank you to all my followers so far and I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Nighty Nite.

We started the day off with a hot breaky, the Pacific Palms markets, lunch at Tuncurry Bowlo and then home in time for mum to watch the Grand Final of the NRL with a nibbles platter for dinner.

I also got to spend some time in our garden (which is currently a never ending job) and some time in my craft room and actually managed to get my cards done for this currently challenge and next weeks sketch challenge.

I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us with our last fortnights challenge, it is always wonderful to go and visit everyone's blogs and see all the creations as I believe we can always learn something new or get new ideas as everyone's ideas & creations are always so different.
