White with 1 July Challenge

Well I can't believe I actually managed to get this one finished and just in the knick of time, nothing like leaving it to the very last minute to finish a monthly challenge and upload it.

This month the challenge was

I've used Flocked pp & acetate, Prima, Green Tara, Bella, Bizzy Bec's & Unknown flowers, brads, Kaiser pearls, Bella paper Butterflies, lace & chipboard for the flourish, sml Butterflies and the BG alpha.

Sorry for the quality of the photo as it is a little blurry but I've run out of daylight to try and do another one.

I'm off now to try and work on a card using a La La Land stamp that I coloured with my Copic's on Friday night at Leane's Scrappin Night. I only managed to get 1 done as half way through colouring I took a lid off and it splattered over the first attempt. Oh well I'm much happier with the results of the 2nd one. I will upload the card when I get it finished or once I have given to the person I am making it for as it is a surprise.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend and it's back to work tomorrow for my next lot of 7 days straight and then to my BFF's for a couple of days straight from work next Sunday night. Looking forward to spending some girly quality time together not really doing much but we want to try and get some photos together which is something we try to do each time we do manage to meet up. xxxxx

Scrapsidaisy July 2011 Challenge

Well I haven't managed to do much scrappin again, the weeks just seem to be going by way too quickly. I've managed so far to get this challenge done for Scrapsidaisy, it was to use Pink, Black & White which worked out to be perfect for the photo's I had.

Happy Birthday Candy from Tracey's Country Crafts - Tracey's Faerie Land

I'm just posting this to my blog and I know this is sad but it is a competition that Tracey is running on her blog and I would really like to be in the running for this most AWESOME prize. This is a great giveaway for anyone to be giving considering it's worth over $140.00 - what a birthday gift. Well I must say that I finally met Tracey at this year's Scrap A While SWOF (retreat) and it was finally great to meet her in person as we had chatted for over a year on Facebook and the SAW forum. While I didn't get to spend too much time with her I learnt that she is a great person and also very talented. Gush Gush Gush, but no I do mean it. So here's a link back to her blog, have a look at her work especially with the Copic markers it's just beautiful.

Loving your work Tracey.

Copic Creations - Just loving them

Well I have been stung by the Copic Craze and I'm just loving loving loving it. As a kid I used to love colouring in, so now as an adult I have an excuse to do it all over again. This creation is a card for a lady at work who is going to a baby shower next weekend and I told her I would make a card for it. This gave me an excuse to try my hand at the copics. This is my 2nd attempt at using them, unfortunately my first attempt I have already used and given to a friend for her birthday before taking a photo but I'm sure there will be a lot more in the near future.

I've used a digital stamp from Deb's Emerald Fairies which I received earlier this week, the pp's are Kaiser, the lge flower is from Bizzy Bec's and the sml ones are unknown (I think I purchased these from Scrapsidaisy in Wingham), paper dollie, ribbon & Stampin Up label punch. I've also used dimensional magic on the flower & Kindy Glitz on the wings of the fairy and of course my much loved new Copic's.
