May - Where did it go

Well here we are again at the end of another month and I've yet to do a lot of scrappin, thankfully I went to our LSS's retreat for a weekend and managed to get some done. I've posted the 2 challenge LO's I did and will hopefully manage to upload a couple of other LO's over the weekend. This month flew by as I was sick and off work for 8 days and still recovering. I've also had a week of leave from work which also flew by with the weekend at the retreat, my husbands birthday on the Monday then 3 days to myself but still not managing to get much scrappin done. However on the plus side I've redesigned my scraproom (with photo's to come when complete), new cube storage installed, shelves up just need to finish my punch storage, place some pictures back up on the walls and hopefully have another trip to IKEA to puchase my new computer desk.

My new cube furniture is due to a very spontaneous trip to IKEA at the beginning of the month with Leane, down and back in one day. OMG we had an awesome time and I can't wait for the next trip, this time I think we will be leaving a little bit earlier then 11am in the morning, but who says when you turn 40 you can't do spontaneaous things.

Well that is all I will leave you with tonight and I will try and upload more LO photo's and some photo's of my scraproom in progress over the weekend!!!!!!!!!!!

Kraft It Up May Challenge

This is the 2nd challenge I managed to get done this month and I'm also really pleased with this one. I've used a photo of myself and Tara at my 40th Birthday which was last month. Celebrated at the local club with my family and a few close friends due to it being so very close to the Easter Long Weekend and having to work preventing a big event.

Kraft + No PP

I've used corrogated Kraft CS, Tattered Angels Glimmer mist & chalk board with a Heidi Swapp mask, Prima & unknown bling, MM stickers, Prima flowers & leaves, unknown felt, Bring on the Bling fence & Stampin Up bird with Chocolate Chip ink and a stamp set borrowed from my beautiful friend Leane (Stampin Up Rep).

White with 1 May Challenge

Well I managed to get a couple of challenges done this month and White with 1 is one of them. I really enjoyed this challenge.

White + Orange + Scallopes

I've actually used a photo of myself which I don't tend to do a lot but I actually don't mind this photo. It was a photo which I didn't know was taken at the Shop and Crop retreat at Port Stephens last year.

I've used Tatter Angels Screens & Glimmer Mist, Prima & Kaiser flowers, SEI tag, Unknown pp & brads, Cricut cutout, Pink Paislee chipboard butterfly and Martha Stewart corner punch.

A better month ahead - hopefully

Well as you can see as there is no posts from last month that it was very uneventful for me, didn't manage to do much scrappin at all only 1 LO done for the month which I will have to upload at a later date as I haven't as yet taken a photo.

Today however I did manage to create 2 cards, one for my Mother-in-law for Mother's Day and one that my boss asked me to make for her for a special occassion. I also finished off my canvas from my class last weekend at Scrap A While with Nathalie Kalbach from Germany who was bought out here by Sherry Mendoza from Your Creative Journey. The class was great and I'm really glad that I have finally managed to finish it.

The most eventful thing that did happen last month was I turned 40, OMG where has all the time gone, well they all tell me life begins at 40 so I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I have got big plans in the pipeline with my Best Friend Bec, we are planning an overseas holiday late next year to the US for 2 weeks and I'm hoping that we can tie it in with the release of the final Twilight Saga Movie - Breaking Dawn Part II, that would be absolutely awesome for us. Sorry big Twihard fans.

Well here are my cards and canvas that I have worked on today.
